ABSTRACT
Watermelon (Citrullus lanatus) is a widely consumed, nutritious fruit, rich in water and sugars. In most crops, abiotic stresses caused by changes temperature, moisture, etc., are significant challenge during production. Due to the temperature sensitivity of watermelon plants, temperatures must be closely monitored controlled when crop cultivated environments. Studies have found direct responses these include reductions leaf size, number leaves, plant size. Stress diagnosis based on morphological features (e.g., shape, color, texture) important for phenomics studies. The purpose this study classify plants exposed low-temperature stress conditions from normal ones using extracted image analysis. addition, an attempt was made develop model estimating leaves age (in weeks) features. A developed that can with 100% accuracy. R2, RMSE, mean absolute difference (MAD) predictive were 0.94, 0.87, 0.88, respectively, R2 RMSE 0.92 0.29 weeks, respectively. models utilized high-throughput phenotyping systems growth monitoring analysis phenotypic traits cultivation.
