ABSTRACT
The aim of this study was to explore the effects prosocial and antisocial personality tendencies context-related state factors on compliance with protective behaviors prevent spread coronavirus infections. Six types (altruism, dire, compliant, emotional, public, anonymous) selfishness as tendency were included factors, while fear related pandemic empathy toward vulnerable groups (i.e., those in forced isolation) factors. Furthermore, mediation effect moderation explored relations between behaviors. sample 581 participants (78.3% females). data collected from March 28 April 6, 2020, during emergency curfew Serbia. results showed that help anonymously had a positive negative behaviors, over above demographic characteristics Among only significant unique but it no moderator relationship traits However, acted mediator partly accounted for revealed measures could be seen unselfish form behavior. these findings have practical implications shaping public messages they can effectively promote health-responsible
