ABSTRACT
The present study constructed a moderated mediation model to examine whether borderline pathological celebrity worship may be associated with higher levels of impulsive buying intent. mediating role empathy and the moderating gender were also examined. A total 1,319 participants recruited from college through campus network. results indicated that (1) could positively predict individuals’ intent; (2) predictive effect on intent mediated by empathy; (3) Specifically, relatively found among men.
