ABSTRACT
The lighting environment has an important influence on the psychological and physical aspects of a person. On certain occasions, reasonable design can regulate people's emotions improve their feelings comfort in space. Besides, specific create atmosphere according to space requirements. However, study individual's affective impressions, there is still some uncertainty about how colored lights affect moods impressions toward visual objects. This research improves understanding emotional impact light To better understand observation process, project studied effects four groups (green, blue, red, yellow) participants' impressions. Participants watched two sets images under different conditions provided feedback evaluations through Multiple Mood States Scale, Two-Dimensional Semantic Differential Scale. results show that colors have significant effect mood, red arouse changes calm, irritated, relaxed, nervous, stability, pleasure. At same time, relevance this provides further value for Therefore, discusses feasibility as display method, which potential application prospects constructing atmospheres.
