ABSTRACT
Personal relationships have long been a concern in education. Most studies indicate that good personal are generally positively correlated with academic performance. However, few compared how different types of correlate performance, and the conclusions existing inconsistent. Based on large sample, current study three closest among students (with parents, teachers, their peers) performance.Cluster sampling was used to issue questionnaires Qingdao City, Shandong Province, China 2018 (Study 1) 2019 2). The actual sample size included 28168 Study 1 29869 2 (both studies, Grades 4 8), thus totaling 58037 students. All completed relationship questionnaire several tests.The results showed that: (1) quality significantly performance; (2) Among tested, student-peer most closely associated achievement.This gives insights into future research directions this field also reminds educators pay attention students, especially peer relationships.
