ABSTRACT
College students have become a high prevalence group and vulnerable of depression. The present study aims to explore the effect perceived stress on depression in sample Chinese college proposes that both emotion regulation positive psychological capital play moderating role between two, so as provide rational intervention for prevention potential among students.In this study, 1,267 (46.4% female) from university western China were selected using whole-group convenience sampling method.After controlling gender, found cognitive reappraisal positively moderated relationship depression, significantly inhibited low perceivers, inhibitory was more pronounced but expression inhibition did not moderate depression.The results suggest can be helped cope with negative effects by increasing frequency their use strategies encouraging accumulation capital. This provides theoretical practical implications interventions students.
