ABSTRACT
Research in Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) has had a clear focus on treatment and the dysfunction specific situation associated with condition. However, self-report, observational anecdotal evidence indicates that there are also positive aspects ADHD. potential features individuals an ADHD diagnosis is still limited, especially studies larger representative samples. Here we performed qualitative research to identify strengths large convenience sample from Dutch organization for people ADHD, dyslexia dyscalculia. We sent out open-ended questionnaires members of organization, asking what they consider be their From responses (n = 206), extracted 116 codes, which were assigned thirteen subthemes, turn led five themes. These themes were: Creativity, Being dynamic, Flexibility, Socio-affective skills, Higher-order cognitive skills. Core symptoms such as impulsivity hyperactivity considered by minority participants.
