ABSTRACT
Subjective cognitive decline (SCD) and subjective memory (SMD) are common among older people. Evidence linking SCD SMD with impairment is inconsistent. Moreover, little known about the associations of disability. We aimed to explore objective performance, disability, depressive symptoms.In a cross-sectional study we conducted face interviews in randomized sample people aged ≥65 years living Canton Ticino, southern Switzerland, between May 2021 April 2022. measured MyCog, subsection Cognitive Decline Questionnaire (SCD-Q); functioning Community Screening Instrument for Dementia; consortium establish registry alzheimer's disease (CERAD) 10-word list learning task; disability symptoms world health organization assessment schedule 2.0 (WHO-DAS 2.0) Euro-Depression (EURO-D) scales, respectively.Of 250 participants 93.6% reported at least one difficulty, 40.0% SMD.
