Relationships between childhood trauma and mental health during the COVID-19 pandemic: a network analysis

ABSTRACT
Background Childhood trauma has been found to have an important impact on mental health. However, little is known regarding the intercorrelations between childhood and health during COVID-19 pandemic. This study aimed investigate such complex interplay trauma, depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress level pandemic, fear of using network analysis. Methods A total 1,247 college students were recruited asked complete a series questionnaires, including Trauma Questionnaire, Patient Health Generalized Anxiety Disorder Scale, Post-traumatic Stress Checklist—Civilian version, Fear Scale. The Gaussian graphical model with scores questionnaires as nodes was estimated. partial correlations calculated edges.
