ABSTRACT
Sheltered homeless families suffer from deleterious living conditions such as housing instability (i.e., moving one shelter to another) that could be an additional barrier healthcare utilization. Few studies have specifically examined perinatal health in mothers and their utilization of prenatal healthcare. This study aimed identify social determinants instability) associated with inadequate care (PCU) sheltered the Greater Paris area France.The children cross-sectional survey [ENFAMS: (Enfants et familles sans logement)] was performed on a random representative sample shelters greater 2013. Following French guidelines, PCU deemed if or more following criteria met: attending fewer than 50% recommended visits, initiation after first trimester pregnancy, three ultrasounds during entire pregnancy. Families were interviewed 17 languages by trained peer interviewers face-to-face interviews. Structural equation modeling used factors estimate correlations between them.This analyzed data 121 who had at least child less year old. They socially disadvantaged most born outside France. One five (19.3%) PCU.
