One reason lack reliable cost-effective measurements. A reliable, valid, user-friendly instrument needed support research clinical practice based on China. This study aimed translate, adapt, examine psychometric properties (factorial structure, measurement invariance, internal consistency reliability, concurrent validity) version Family Questionnaire. Methods total 248 caregivers participated study. translation back-translation procedure was applied translate Questionnaire into Chinese. We compared two models factor structure questionnaire by performing confirmatory analysis. also conducted invariance analysis test whether tool invariant across male female groups. Reliability evaluated with Cronbach's α. The validity examined testing predictivity relevant path used STROBE checklist report. Results item-total correlation coefficients scale ranged from 0.375 0.752. indicated that displays original two-factor (emotional overinvolvement criticism; X 2 = 335.50, df 169, / 1.985, RMSEA 0.063, SRMR 0.058, CFI 0.913, TLI 0.902). In addition, subscales showed excellent consistency, alpha 0.92 for both criticism. supported good care burden, function, quality life. All were significant, absolute values 0.23 0.72. Conclusion valid
