ABSTRACT
Klebsiella pneumoniae is an important pathogen that can infect both humans and cattle. The widespread K. its high drug resistance make it difficult to treat infections/diseases. In this study, a lytic bacteriophage vB_Kpn_B01 was isolated from dairy farm trough in Sichuan Province, biological properties were studied, the entire genome of sequenced. therapeutic effects phage on disease-causing mice preliminarily tested. Phages found study are double-stranded DNA bacterial viruses belonging family Siphoviridae, Sugarlandvirus . results suggest has strong specificity low adaptability different adverse conditions. Meanwhile, predicted gene products comprised 149 coding sequences (CDS) 25 tRNAs, which 34 CDS had known functions. Of course, did not contain any antibiotic-resistant or virulent genes. pathological sections liver lungs showed inflammatory scores treatment group lower than group. Phage alleviated response organs infected mice, organ tissue load significantly Therefore, inhibit proliferation 18 vivo alleviate inflammation target caused by infectious bacteria, indicates certain effect laboratory-infected mice.
