ABSTRACT
Male fertility is extremely important in dairy animals because semen from a single bull used to inseminate several thousand females. Asthenozoospermia (reduced sperm motility) and oligozoospermia concentration) are the two reasons cited for idiopathic infertility crossbred bulls; however, etiology remains elusive. In this study, using non-targeted liquid chromatography with tandem mass spectrometry-based approach, we carried out deep metabolomic analysis of spermatozoa seminal plasma derived normozoospermic astheno-oligozoospermic bulls. Using bioinformatics tools, alterations metabolites metabolic pathways between normozoospermia astheno-oligozoospermia were elucidated. A total 299 167 183 147 detected bulls, respectively.
