ABSTRACT
Senecaviurs A (SVA) infection, an emerging infectious disease in pig populations, is characterized by vesicular lesions predominantly affecting the mouth, snout, and hooves of infected pigs, similar to symptoms Foot Mouth Disease Virus (FMDV). This first spread into China 2015, causing great panic breeding industry. To determine prevalence SVA herds from 2018 2021, a total 4,901 tissue samples were collected 18 provinces, autonomous regions municipalities (P.A.M.s) for epidemiological investigation, virus isolation genetic analysis. In individual positive rates (IPRs) perspective spatial distribution East China, South Central North Southwest Northwest Northeast 0, 1.69, 0.94, 11.70, 3.31 2.21%, respectively. The herd (HPRs) 9.52, 9.09, 50.00, 7.69 23.08%. From temporal distribution, IPR showed overall downwards trend with only slight increase 2020. Moreover, HPR decreased 36.63 10.07%. population (2.62%) (12.00%) apparently healthy (slaughterhouses) greater than those non-healthy (2.10 5.13%, respectively), consistent results 2019. characterize prevalent strains, 10 strains isolated 2019 clustered Clades I VII; SVA-FJ039-2019, SVA-HuN032-2019, SVA-GX011-2019, SVA-FJ036-2019, SVA-GXF011-2019 SVA-GXF053-2019 Clade I; SVA-FJ018-2019, SVA-SD069-2019, SVA-SD072-2019, SVA-SD074-2019 VII. conclusion, until was still relatively high, contaminated area large, there number hidden infections. future, epidemic status must be closely monitored prevention control measures adjusted timely manner.
