ABSTRACT
Double-flower ornamental crabapples display eye-catching morphologies in comparison to single flower, but the genetic basis of double-flower development is not yet well known apples. In order comprehensively understand differential expression genes (DEGs) between and double transcriptome flower Malus Kelsey, micromalus, Royalty, a cultivar Dolgo were compared by RNA-sequencing. The results showed that there 1854 overlapped DEGs among all sample comparisons apple varieties. A large number hormone related also recognized on GO KEGG annotations, most found be down-regulated flowers. Particularly, an AGL24-MADS-box gene (MD08G1196900) auxin responsive (MD13G1137000) putatively key candidate weighted co-expression network analysis (WGCNA). study provides insights into complex molecular mechanism underlying apple.
