ABSTRACT
BOLL is implicated in mammalian testicular function maintenance and spermatogenesis. To understand the expression patterns biological functions of sheep BOLL, we examined immunolocalization developing testes Small-Tail Han aged 0 days (D0), 2 months (2M), 5 (5M), 1 year (1Y), years (2Y), by qPCR, Western blot, immunohistochemistry methods. Firstly, morphological studies revealed that, addition to spermatogonia, ordered clear spermatocytes, as well round elongated spermatids sperm, were found 1Y 2Y seminiferous tubules testes, compared with D0, 2M, 5M analyzed hematoxylin eosin (H&E) staining. The diameter area tubules, epithelial thickness, perimeter tubule lumens gradually increased age. was specifically expressed upregulation transcript higher groups than those groups. Similarly, protein mainly ranging from primary spermatocytes spermatids, spermatozoa. This study first demonstration that might serve a key regulator spermiogenesis involved sperm maturity, its role crucial meiotic regulator.
