ABSTRACT
In recent decades, several studies have demonstrated a link between stuttering and abnormal electroencephalographic (EEG) β-power in cortex. Effects of exposure to binaural stimuli were studied adults with (AWS, n = 6) fluent participants (n using EEG, ECG, speech analysis. During standard reading tasks without stimulation, controls but not the AWS group, EEG was significantly higher left hemisphere than right hemisphere. After power β-band increased 1.54-fold. The average within frontotemporal area temporoparietal junction cortex after stimulation shows an increase by 1.65-fold 1.72-fold, respectively. rate disfluency dropped immediately (median 74.70% baseline). Similarly, 133.15%). We show for first time that auditory beat can improve fluency AWS, its effect is proportional boost Changes detected persisted 10 min. Additionally, these effects accompanied reduction stress levels.
