ABSTRACT
Hydrogen peroxide (aqueous solution of H2O2) is one the most used reagents i n medical sterilization, environmental disinfection, food storage, and other fields. However, hydrogen has potential to cause serious harm biological health safety. There are many methods (especially electrochemistry) for H2O2 detection in liquid phase systems, but a lack vapor detection. This due its colorless tasteless nature, as well oxidative activity molecule coexistence with humidity. In this study, poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):polystyrene sulfonate (PEDOT:PSS), commercially successful widely conductive polymers, was employed fabricate an all-organic chemiresistive sensor simple, real-time, on-site sensing (HPV) at room temperature. comparison pristine PEDOT:PSS film, PEDOT:PSS/PEDOT film prepared by situ electrochemical polymerization. Upon exposure different concentrations HPV, it found that hydrophobic porous PEDOT layer could weaken interference humidity HPV sensing, resulting more sensitive accurate response. At 1.0 ppm concentration, resistance signal response increased nearly 89% compared film. PEDOT-film-based showcases possibility further development nonenzymatic monitoring technology.
