ABSTRACT
This review analyzes the studies published, mainly in last 10–15 years, on synthesis, structure, and sensor properties of semiconductor nanocomposites. Particular attention is paid to interaction between nanoparticles sensitive layer, its effect sensitivity, selectivity systems. Various mechanisms metal oxide composites are considered, including incorporation ions one component into structure another, heterocontacts different nanoparticles, core–shell systems, as well their influence characteristics gas sensors. The experimental data modeling charge distribution which determine conductivity one- two-component also discussed. It shown that model considers interactions best describes results. Some detection considered conclusion.
