ABSTRACT
Higher education institutions (HEIs) are crucial social organizations that foster innovation, disseminate knowledge, and train future leaders in various fields. essential for implementing the Education Sustainable Development (ESD) plan. This review addresses HEIs' attempts to evaluate sustainability higher education. study analyzes literature available on assessment of provide a practices incorporated by different HEIs around globe. Using Scopus database Google Scholar, 88 articles were selected this review. The analyzed provided information helped compile an SAT list (Sustainability Assessment Tool). SATs identified these categorized as qualitative, quantitative, mixed-method techniques. utilization real-world case studies was also presented, their results highlighted. analysis aids contributes current research using other methods evaluating HEIs. explains difficulties scope utilizing actual world.
