ABSTRACT
Problem-solving skills are advantageous when resolving complicated and multidimensional challenges. can be developed through active learning models that engage students in the process. One model is RICOSRE. The main focus of RICOSRE problem-solving activities (1) reading; (2) identifying problem; (3) constructing solution; (4) solving (5) reviewing (6) extending solution. purpose this study was to assess ongoing development with upper, middle, lower academic abilities at Department Biology Education a state university Indonesia. This employed concurrent embedded mixed-methods design. repeated-measures ANOVA used test hypothesis for quantitative data, NVivo 12 utilized analyze qualitative data. participants’ were determined by their responses items on RICOSRE-integrated worksheets. students’ graded using validated reliable rubric. findings indicated improved consistently groups taught implementing
