How to Evaluate Augmented Reality Embedded in Lesson Planning in Teacher Education

ABSTRACT
Augmented reality (AR) is vital in education for enhancing learning and motivation through interactive environments experiments. This requires teacher training AR creation integration. Research indicates that effectiveness relies on thorough preparation, calling the development of scoring rubrics evaluating both educational AR’s However, no current studies provide such a rubric assessing pedagogical implementation. Hence, rubric, EVAR (Evaluating Reality Education), was developed based framework analysis augmented science engineering teaching by Czok colleagues, extended with core concepts instructional design lesson organization, featuring 18 items five subscales rated four-point Likert scale. To evaluate validity reliability scenarios, designed eleven master’s seminar pre-service students at University Konstanz, majoring biology, chemistry, or physics, were assessed experts using newly rubric. The results reveal simple classification characteristics insufficient its quality scenarios. Instead, settings showed high inter-rater can discriminate between different groups according to implementation into planning.
