ABSTRACT
The absence of cardiovascular disease (CVD) diagnostic and management solutions cause significant morbidity among populations in rural areas the coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) emergency. To tackle this problem, paper, development an Internet things (IoT) assisted ambulatory electrocardiogram (ECG) monitoring system is presented. system’s wearable single-channel data acquisition device supports 25 h continuous operation. A right leg drive (RLD) circuit supported analog frontend (AFE) with a high common mode rejection ratio (CMRR) 121 dB digitally implemented notch filter used to suppress power-line frequency interference. continuously sends collected ECG via Bluetooth user’s smartphone. An application on smartphone renders real-time trace heart rate detects abnormal rhythms. This are then shared doctor cloud database. doctor’s allows visualization detection arrhythmias. Simulations experimental results demonstrate that reliable signals can be captured low latency computation comparable commercial application. Low cost, scalability, latency, monitoring, improved performance make highly suitable for remote identification CVDs users COVID-19 pandemic.
