ABSTRACT
In this paper, an experimental investigation study was conducted to show the effect of enhancing evaporation and condensation processes inside a modified solar still by placing ultrasonic humidifiers cotton mesh tent in basin water installing cooling chamber with thermoelectric elements on top still. Various parameters were recorded every hour, such as temperatures at different points within still, weather conditions (e.g., irradiance intensity, ambient air temperature, wind speed), yield distilled water, thermal efficiency 29 July 2021 Ural Federal University (Russia). The production cost from traditional stills also estimated. results showed that productivity increased 124% compared highest 2:00 p.m. (approximately 95.8% 35.6% for stills, respectively). Finally, distillate (1 L) approximately 0.040 0.042 $/L respectively. current work has contributed increasing applying simple new technologies lowest possible capital operational costs.
