ABSTRACT
The work in this article presents the design and realization of a low-profile, four-port MIMO antenna supporting fifth-generation (5G) wireless applications operating at millimeter-Wave (mm-Wave) band. Each is 2-element array fed with corporate feeding network, whereas single patch bow-tie slot center slits edges. vertical horizontal slots are incorporated as Defected Ground Structure (DGS) to optimize performance. In addition, slotted zig-zag decoupling structure etched from edge on top side enhance isolation. Significant isolation (>−40 dB) achieved between elements by employing spatial polarization diversity techniques. proposed covers 5G mm-Wave band −10 dB bandwidth ranging 27.6–28.6 GHz, maximum gain attained for 12.02 dBi. Moreover, lower correlation values, higher gain, channel capacity loss make it suitable contender range.
