ABSTRACT
This paper is concerned with calculating the phase stability of a stable cable multi-physics coupling simulations. A three-dimensional electromagnetic-thermal-flow-mechanics model established to simulate operating in air. The simulation results demonstrate that electric field distribution corrugated shows differences from normal coaxial around outer conductor, i.e., stronger sharp points conductor than blunt points, which elevates voltage endurance requirement and risk breakdown during transmission high power. Regarding thermal deformation, simulations reveal restrains insulation expanding along both cross-section direction axial direction, expansion might be manipulated through proper design parameters. Finally, consistency between simulated measured witnesses validity model, its accuracy refined more precise material properties.
