ABSTRACT
By providing a 360° field of view, spherical panoramas can convey vivid visual impressions. Thus, they are widely used in virtual reality systems and street view services. However, due to bandwidth or storage limitations, existing only provide sparsely captured have limited interaction modes. Although there methods that synthesize novel views based on panoramas, the generated all lie lines connecting views. Therefore these do not support free-viewpoint navigation. In this paper, we propose new panoramic image-based rendering method for generation. Our represents each input panorama with set superpixels warps superpixel individually so deal occlusion disocclusion problem. The warping is dominated by two-term constraint, which preserve shape ensure it warped correct position determined 3D reconstruction scene. generate far from camera positions. supports freely exploring scene view. We compare our three previous datasets ourselves others. Experiments show obtain better results.
