ABSTRACT
An analytical method was proposed for obtaining the magnetic field distribution surface-mounted permanent magnet machines with structure of unequal poles. Firstly, Laplace equation and Poisson were solved using separation variables, then mathematical model motor poles obtained. Secondly, according to design parameters two types prototypes motors, flux density in air gap region motors calculated, respectively. Thirdly, by comparing results calculated obtained finite element method, this paper proven be effective. Moreover, armature reaction effect stator slotting considered as well. Overall, presented provides a theoretical basis calculation
