ABSTRACT
We report on the numerical simulations and experimental validation of a microwave planar sensor based two coupled rings operating in 4–6 GHz range. The fabricated is used to characterize dielectric permittivity vegetable oils. optimized geometrical parameters order improve overlap between oil samples under study electric field. results showed an excellent match with simulation results. allowed retrieve sensitivity about 35 MHz per unit frequency range interest. This paves way realization compact sensitive sensors for wide plethora fields ranging from industry food chemistry biology.
