ABSTRACT
The partial substitution of non-renewable materials in cementitious composites with eco-friendly is promising not only terms cost reduction, but also improving the composites’ shielding properties. water and carbon content a commercial lignin-based biochar analyzed thermal gravimetric analysis. Cementitious composite samples 14 wt.% 18 are realized. Good dispersion filler observed by SEM fabricated order to fit rectangular waveguide for measurements effectiveness X-band. A 15 dB was obtained at frequency 10 GHz case biochar. Full-wave simulations performed fitting measured simulated varying material properties simulator. Analysis dimensional tolerances thickness help full/wave simulations. Lignin-based good candidate cement composites, as increases substantially.
