ABSTRACT
The dynamic performance of the local control single-phase voltage source inverters (VSIs) can be degraded when supplying to nonlinear loads (NLLs) in microgrids. When this is based on droop principles, a proper calculation active and reactive averaged powers (P–Q) essential for proficient response against abrupt NLL changes. In work, VSI an was studied, focusing attention P–Q stage. This stage first generated direct in-quadrature signals from measured load current through second-order generalized integrator (SOGI). Then, instantaneous power quantities were obtained by multiplying each filtered output voltage, later utilizing SOGI acquire parameters. proposed algorithm compared with previous proposals, while keeping steady-state ripple constant, which resulted faster power. case, presented less than best proposal it compared. reducing velocity power, also showed reduction its ripple. Simulations, hardware-in-the-loop, experimental tests carried out verify effectiveness proposal.
