ABSTRACT
The strategies of distribution network reconfiguration are applicable for minimizing power loss and saving electrical energy in the system. Network is usually represented by constant load demand so ignoring variability causes uncertainty misleading results minimization loss. This paper consists two parts: first, was accomplished using an optimization framework based on to find sets optimal switches. active taken as objective function while bus voltage, branch current system radiality were constraints. study applied a 33-bus test network, which exceedingly used examples solving problems. Second, lists configurations set obtained from first part, well other different methods proposed earlier under Additionally, presence distributed generators analyze network. Two types demands; variable voltage-dependent load, represent practical demands. presents new method good analysis it defines effect loading levels patterns performance passive networks. approach tries actual characteristics loads. Therefore, probable benefit this contribution providing more flexibility utilities terms operation, also opening prospects automation smart systems.
