ABSTRACT
Ionic wind cooling for electronic elements is a relevant research field. In order to study the performance of ionic on Light Emitting Diode (LED), an generator with needles-ring electrode configuration was set up. A cylindrical heat sink dissipation heating film representing LED chip also manufactured. Following this, effect needle number, distance between needles and ring electrode, polarity corona discharge velocity were studied. Finally, optimal adopted attain maximum different numbers needles. After device used cool at working power 10 watts. The surface temperature measured evaluate device. experimental results indicate that drop in center reaches 35.6 °C five needle-electrode case, which very effective can meet demands watts dissipation.
