ABSTRACT
High penetration of wind power in the modern system renders traditional automatic generation control (AGC) methods more challenging, due to uncertainty external environment, less reserve power, and small inertia constant system. An improved AGC method named predictive optimal 2-degree-of-freedom proportion integral differential (PO-2-DOF-PID) is proposed this paper, which farm will participate load frequency process. Firstly, mathematical model multi-area grid with built. Then, PID controller presented improve robustness considering uncertainties. The objective function designed based on speed whether takes part or not. solves optimization problem through theory while taking into account given constraints. In order obtain sequence output whole system, characteristic 2-DOF-PID integrated model. A three interconnected introduced as an example test feasibility effectiveness method. When two cases high low are analyzed. simulation results indicate that can effectively deal negative influence caused by when participates AGC.
