ABSTRACT
Offshore wind energy has been identified as one of the most promising and increasingly attractive sources energy. This technology offers a long-term power-generation source, less environmental impact, fewer physical restrictions. However, given complexity this technology, economic feasibility studies are essential. Thus, study aims to identify main trends criteria or methods used in offshore energy, providing review state art literature. For this, Systematic Literature Review was carried out. The article shows growing interest power generation highlights how recently that assess technical–economic source grown; it presents milestones topic. Based on structured literature review, identifies topic: (i) farms, (ii) risk, (iii) floating (iv) decommissioning repowering, (v) net present value, (vi) life cycle cost, (vii) multi-criteria decision-making; provides broad view methodological possibilities specificities for investors researchers interested conducting generation. In addition, finally, research agenda is proposed.
