ABSTRACT
This paper investigates voltage regulation in low (LV) networks under different loading conditions of a supply network, with increased levels distributed generation, and particular diverse range locational solar photovoltaic (PV) penetration. topic has been researched extensively, beneficial impacts expected up to certain point when reverse power flows begin negatively impact customers connected the distribution system. In this paper, voltage-based approach that utilizes novel reliability indices is proposed analyse risk LV feeder, as well its PV hosting capacity. The are directly comparable results from probabilistic assessment. operation network simulated for scenarios investigate penetration, location on MV results. It can be seen all improve penetration heavily loaded conversely deteriorate lightly loaded. Moreover, bus voltages an on-load tap changer fitted at secondary trans-former which leads better performance occurrence duration violations reduced scenarios. opposed conventional assessment, considers sustained interruptions caused by failure components, thus contributes comprehensive analysis quality service considering transient events (i.e., related) network.
