ABSTRACT
Grid-forming inverters, which are represented by droop control and virtual synchronous generator control, have been widely studied applied because of their excellent grid-supporting ability smooth off-grid switching. When a grid-forming inverter is connected to microgrid or utility grid, the loops active power reactive will be coupled voltage phase difference, affect performance. This paper first derives small-signal linearized model system, based on frequency feedforward an amplitude proposed decouple loops, respectively. The decoupling strategy directly modifies reference values through with easily implementable principle that applicable various coordinate systems, structures. By comparing system models without strategy, its effectiveness can theoretically proven. Time-domain simulations hardware experiments presented further validate effectiveness.
