ABSTRACT
In order to fully utilize the control degrees of freedom a multi-three-phase-star smooth-pole permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM), this paper first develops modeling approach using new matrix transformation method. The proposed produces decoupled and independent star windings, removing inductive couplings preserving model torque control’s consistency as number phases increases. model, together with vector scheme, is superior for studying effect winding phase angle shift on performance. Based numerical simulation, focuses quality analysis currents, non-sequential ripple different angles double- triple-star PMSM drives. validated, behavior investigated by OPAL-RT.
