ABSTRACT
Eremurus, a perennial rhizomatous mesophytic ornamental plant and one of the largest genera family Asphodelaceae, is distributed mainly in southwestern central Asia. We sequenced complete chloroplast genomes ten species corresponding to all sections genus analyzed their basic structure evolutionary relationships. The cp showed significant similarities size, gene sequences, classes, inverted repeat regions (IRs). genome Eremurus has typical tetrad structure, ranging length from 153,782 bp (E. lactiflorus) 155,482 aitchisonii). large single-copy region (LSC) ranges 84,005 84,711 robustus), that small (SSC) 16,727 soogdianus) 17,824 suworowii), (IR) 26,484 26,597 inderiensis E. soogdianus). A total 131 genes were detected, including 85 protein-coding genes, 8 rRNA 38 tRNA genes. In addition, we found seven common eight unique SSRs species. Among five highly variable (ycf1, rps15, rps16, rpl36) with high Pi values detected potential as DNA barcodes for genus. Three (rps19, ycf1, ndhB) had positive Ka/Ks values. Codon usage patterns very similar across species: 33 codons relative synonymous codon more than one, which three ended G, remaining U. Phylogenetic analyses using 81 confirmed previous studies well subgenus monophyletic Henningia paraphyletic.
