ABSTRACT
Bamboo is a fast-growing plant with properties such as low cost, abundant resources, and good carbon sequestration effect. However, the swift growth of bamboo resources generates an immense quantity processing waste, which necessary to effectively utilize waste. The leftovers from can be reutilized by fast pyrolysis prepare renewable bio-oil. In this study, bio-oil was partially substituted for phenol synthesize phenolic resin different substitution rates under action alkaline catalyst, then serve adhesive produce scrimber. bundles were impregnated synthetic create scrimber, subsequently hot-pressed. research shows that modified resins rate 30% have physical chemical properties, while free aldehyde content 40% exceeds limit value (0.3%) specified in Chinese National Standard. thermal stability also increased after modification, indicated movement TG curve higher temperature ranges. It found scrimber prepared 20% BPF had best comprehensive mechanical strength, hydrophobicity, mildew resistance, particularly elastic modulus 9269 MPa static bending strength 143 MPa. microscopic morphology showed well into interior bundle compact bonding structure within anti-mold performance experiment bio-oil-modified level slightly corrosion-resistant strong corrosion-resistant. conclusions obtained study reference achieving utilization bamboo, helping promote use all components, reduce production cost improve its resistance performance.
