ABSTRACT
The principal objective of this article is to assess the possible association between number COVID-19 infected cases and concentrations fine particulate matter (PM2.5) ozone (O3), atmospheric pollutants related people’s mobility in urban areas, taking also into account effect meteorological conditions. We fit a generalized linear mixed model which includes spatial temporal terms order detect elements on pollutant concentrations. consider nine counties state New York registered highest cases. implemented Bayesian method using integrated nested Laplace approximation (INLA) with stochastic partial differential equation (SPDE). results emphasize that all components used designing contribute improving predicted values can be included similar real-world data (RWD) models. found only weak PM2.5 Records other covariates from March May 2020 were collected electronic health records (EHRs) standard RWD sources.
