On the Coupling and Coordination Development between Environment and Economy: A Case Study in the Yangtze River Delta of China

ABSTRACT
The coupling and coordination development of the environment economy (CC2E) is one most vital issues to sustainable development. This paper adopted model, projection pursuit algorithm, random forest model explore spatial-temporal evolution influencing factors CC2E in Yangtze River Delta from 2015 2019, respectively. results showed that: (1) degree (DCC) cities has risen primary intermediate coordination. (2) In spatial perspective, distribution DCC correlated with geographical location. value western region was significantly lower than that eastern cities. (3) GDP economic subsystem annual average concentration PM2.5 environmental were Delta. established index system measurements provide a new idea for how achieve Meanwhile, this study can recommendations formulating protection policy.
