ABSTRACT
A growing body of evidence is suggestive for the beneficial role contact with greenspace (e.g., use greenspace, visual access to etc.) on mental health depression, anxiety, etc.). In addition, several studies have pointed out benefits social support and interaction psychological wellbeing. Even if association between perceived were mixed, it was supposed that could enhance interactions support, especially among older adults. The present study aims explore effect geriatric depression in a sample South-Italian adults mediating this association. structural equation model tested 454 (60–90 years old) residing Metropolitan Area Bari, Apulia. fit indices revealed goodness (CFI = 0.934; TLI 0.900; IFI 0.911; NFI 0.935; RMSEA 0.074; SRMR 0.056). Results showed inversely associated through support. These findings underlined relevance pathway linking depressive symptoms. This may be useful policymakers plan interventions promoting physical participation an age-friendly city framework.
