Office Design’s Impact on Psychosocial Work Environment and Emotional Health

ABSTRACT
This study explores the association between office design and (a) psychosocial work environment (b) emotional health among 4352 employees in seven different designs. A multivariate linear regression analysis was performed with adjustments for age educational level men women separately. Results show that factors exhaustion differ both designs genders, best outcomes cell offices, except psychological demands are rated most favourable shared-room offices.
