ABSTRACT
Pancreatic organogenesis is a multistep process that requires the cooperation of several signaling pathways. In this context, role pancreatic mesenchyme important to define epithelium development; nevertheless, precise space–temporal activation still needs be clarified. This study reports dissection embryogenesis, highlighting molecular network surrounding epithelium–mesenchyme interaction. To investigate crosstalk, and mesenchyme, at embryonic day 10.5, were collected through laser capture microdissection (LCM) characterized based on their global gene expression. We performed bioinformatic analysis hypothesize crosstalk interactions, validating most promising genes verifying localization expression in compartments, by RNA situ hybridization (ISH). Our analyses pointed out also c-Met gene, very well-known factor involved stimulating motility, morphogenesis, organ regeneration. highlighted potential between Versican (Vcan) Syndecan4 (Sdc4) since these are tissue repair, strengthening concept same pathways required during embryogenesis repair. finding leads novel strategies for obtaining functional stem cells cell replacement therapies.
