ABSTRACT
The aim of the present study was to investigate new silicate cement mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA Repair HP) with respect its effect on inflammation process involving tooth and periodontal tissues. composition MTA HP supplemented plasticizer agents which can have a negative modulation inflammation. silicate-based material in question is widely used regeneration pulp-dentin complex, treatment perforations various locations tooth, as well surgical complications periapical tissue. improved bioceramic restorative affect expression metalloproteinases MMP-2 MMP-9 monocytes/macrophages involved regenerative processes novel aspect lies application model THP-1 monocyte/macrophage applying biomaterial direct contact cells. Hence, it provides representation clinical conditions pulp use HP. A lack macrophage activation (as measured flow cytometry) found. Moreover, identified stimulation studied (with Western blotting fluorescent microscopy). Similarly, no increase concentration found (measured by ELISA method) vitro when incubated Based results be concluded that does not inflammatory response associated activity described enzymes. It also speculated they do dentin play significant roles.
