ABSTRACT
The preservation of Great Mosque Córdoba (Spain) as a carrier Andalusian collective memory requires innovative approaches to assess and maintain its structural health. This research centers on two non-destructive methods: direct ultrasound testing rebound hammer. Laboratory tests were performed natural stone provided by the primary material supplier for Mosque's restoration rehabilitation works. Non-destructive destructive carried out over 10 ashlars 100 cubic prismatic specimens, which cut from ashlars. Tests conducted in multiple directions investigate anisotropy. Destructive indicated isotropy, but test results disagreed. Sensitivity analysis specimen dimensions affected result dispersion, not average properties.
