ABSTRACT
Compression testing of continuous fiber reinforced materials is challenging, because a great number competing failure modes and instabilities on different length scales have to be considered. In comparison tensile testing, the results are more affected by chosen test set-up. Effects introduced set-up as well type damage in mainly investigated for quasi-static loading. This not case cyclic compression Neither standardized methods nor deal literature reference exists. The aim this work increase understanding analyzing potential effects fatigue loading might two common strategies tests, load creep tests supplementary analytical models. show that can altered strategy woven glass polyamide 6. tools both experimentally analytically provide basis choose correct future investigations.
