ABSTRACT
The paper presents a method for checking the geometry of stamped car body parts using 3D optical measurement system. analysis focuses on first forming operation due to deformation and material flow associated with stall thresholds. An essential element is determining actual gap occurring between surfaces based die punch used in stamping operation. elements at individual production stages was analyzed an laser scanner. control carried out this way allowed one correctly position tools (punch die), thus introducing correction technological parameters, having fundamental influence specific features final product. This type approach has not been before calibrate line setting shaping tools. manufactured product intermediate operations investigated.
