ABSTRACT
The creation of a decentralized low-carbon energy infrastructure is the main trend in development electric power industry many countries. Distributed generation facilities (DGs) based on gas reciprocating units (GRUs) are often built by industrial entities for efficient utilization secondary resources order to minimize environmental impact. Modern GRUs have some advantages, but they design features that should be factored when connecting them internal systems entities. Incorrect consideration possible operating conditions GRU their can lead damage, excessive shutdowns, and disruptions supply essential consumers with significant damage losses from undersupply products. Excessive shutdowns caused non-selective choice settings relay protection devices or load surges exceed allowable ones. With high availability factors, disconnected five eight times more compared large turbine steam units. total consumed motors, as part an entity, determines nature parameters electromechanical transient processes during emergency disturbances. presented analysis issues facing real DG relies acts investigation into causes accidents. Calculations shown action “Load Agreement Module” excitation controller provoke occurrence voltage avalanche system complete shutdown load. paper presents recommendations control algorithms controller. Technical solutions given prevent various system, help ensure reliable consumers. change approaches substantiated light differences other facilities.
